Texas Health recognizes the importance of caring for the whole person – body, mind and spirit – both in the practice and delivery of health care and in the life of the organization. We implement this in many ways, being mindful of respecting and welcoming the diversity of religious faiths and the different ways people nurture their spirit.

  • Pastoral Care

In times of health crisis, our Chaplains provide a compassionate, supportive presence to patients, family members and caregivers. Our Pastoral Care staff members are part of your professional care team and are dedicated to faithfully supporting you and your loved ones through healing, health and hope during a hospital experience. Our Chaplains also support hospital staff through direct spiritual care, collaboration with patient/family care and critical incident debriefing.
