Texas Health is actively seeking Outpatient Faculty (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) for the Texas Health Hurst-Euless-Bedford Internal Medicine Residency in growing and vibrant Dallas/Fort Worth, TX.

The Texas Health Harris Methodist Hurst-Euless-Bedford Internal Medicine Residency Program is located in Bedford, Texas – a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas. The Residency welcomed its first cohort of 20 residents in July 2022 and the second cohort in July 2023. In addition to completing clinical rotation at Texas Health Hurst-Euless-Bedford (Texas Health H-E-B), residents also complete clinical rotations at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton.

Job Highlights:

  • Faculty position (.6 FTE Denton program location)
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Target start date is before the close of 2024.

Our program offers a unique experience for residents, as well as the leadership team and faculty.

Are you who we’re looking for?

  • MD or DO medical degree is required.
  • Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM).
  • We will also consider candidates certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
  • Prior experience as Core Faculty or Clerkship Director is a plus.
  • Must be appointed, or eligible to be appointed, as a medical staff member with unrestricted credentials within Texas Health Resources and be licensed, or able to obtain a license, to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
