ARLINGTON, Texas — Texas Health Resources ranked No. 3 on Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Texas™ list — the highest healthcare system and North Texas-based organization to receive this recognition. This is the seventh year Texas Health has been ranked among best large companies in Texas.
This is the 10th consecutive year Texas Health has been recognized with this nationwide honor.
“We are proud to be recognized for creating and sustaining a workplace where our employees can thrive and grow while they care for North Texans,” said Barclay Berdan, FACHE, Texas Health’s chief executive officer. “We celebrate and thank our team members, the physicians on the medical staff, and our volunteers for all they do.”
Fortune partners with Great Place to Work® to conduct an extensive employee survey to identify the best workplaces in each state. The ranking is based on the feedback of nearly 95,000 employees surveyed at eligible companies. Survey participants responded to 60 statements about their employee experience.
Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status or other demographic identifiers.
Carla Dawson, chief people officer, said Texas Health is committed to creating a workplace where diversity is celebrated, and inclusion exists at all levels.
“We are proud to be recognized for our efforts to create a range of benefits and resources that help our employees do their life’s best work at Texas Health,” Dawson said.
To be eligible for the list, companies must be Great Place To Work Certified™, have at least 10 U.S. employees and be headquartered in Texas. Last year, Texas Health ranked No. 6 on the list.
In April, Texas Health made Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For® list at No. 29 — the highest ranking among health systems recognized in 2024. This is the 10th consecutive year Texas Health has been recognized with this nationwide honor.
