The Texas Health Resources Foundation has announced that Emmy and Tony Award winning actor and producer Sainty Nelsen, a native of Fort Worth, will chair the planning committee for the 31st Annual Puttin’ on the Pink Fashion Luncheon. This yearly event highlights the latest designs from fashion sponsor, Neiman Marcus, while supporting a life-changing cause.
Nelsen is currently starring in the world’s number one children’s animated show, “Gabby’s Dollhouse,” on Netflix. She is also one of the few actresses in the world starring in multiple DreamWorks Animation, Nickelodeon, and Netflix originals at the same time.
Hosted by the Kupferle Health Board, proceeds from the Puttin’ on the Pink event support the Texas Health Resources Wellness for Life® program, a mobile unit that provides life-saving services free of charge to underserved women in North Texas. Through the Wellness for Life® program, women can receive digital screening mammograms, breast diagnostic procedures, cervical cancer screenings, colon cancer screenings, cardiovascular risk assessments, and bone density screenings.
The 2024 Puttin’ on the Pink Fashion Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 10, at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
