Grandparents Visitation

With the parent’s permission, grandparents are allowed to visit without the parents and will be given a special identifying badge.

Sibling Visitation

Whenever your other children visit your infant, you will be asked a few questions about their health, and we will take their temperature to make sure they do not have a fever. During cold and flu season, siblings will not be allowed to visit unless they are over the age of 16.

Arm Bands

Parents should wear the arm band provided to you by the Labor and Delivery/ NICU staff. If the father will not be involved, the mother of the baby may choose one other person to wear the other band if the father will not be involved. This person will be able to come into the NICU at any time when they present their arm band.

Parent and Parking Badges

You will receive one parent badge that gives you access into our secure unit and two parking badges to get you in and out of the parking garages. We ask that parents be the only one to use the badges. Please return your badge to your baby’s nurse on discharge day.
